Amy Thatcher is an accordionist, composer and performer in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Taking part all over the country in concerts, festivals, weddings and functions.
Amy’s solo career took off in 2019 with the release of her debut album ‘Solo’. Her most recent EP ‘Let What’s In Out’ came out in November 2021 with the single ‘Look At You Now’. This is as part of a fundraising campaign for Bliss, a charity for premature babies.

Amy’s musicianship over the last 15 years has taken her from the BBC Proms to Canada, Malaysia and Russia as well as festivals all over the UK.
She currently teaches accordion at Newcastle University and has years of experience teaching music on the accordion including for private lessons.
